Global Engagement

Today another short post, as today I fulfilled my second obligation here at ANU, doing a presentation for the Indonesia Studies Group on how to think about the ways in which Indonesians engage with the rest of the world. A great audience with super feedback–I’d guess that there is no other university in the world where you could get that many people together from all sorts of disciplines who all care specifically about Indonesia. A humbling experience, and also a great opportunity to try out some new ideas, including a figure that I’ve spent the entire summer (more or less) working on.

My Favorite Figure
