We’re signing off now from Jakarta, as we will be leaving later today for Hong Kong. We considered blogging from there, but as that’s not really Southeast Asia in any formal sense we’re going to refrain from doing so. Our trip to Honkers will be for about five days, where we will be staying with J and seeing the city. We hope to get to Macau as well. No word yet as to when we’ll be back online in Southeast Asia again, but it probably won’t be too long, and we will blog when we are back here.
We can tell that we’ve been here for awhile because everyone at our
hotel knows us by name. They call TP “Pak Thomas” (Mr. Thomas). And just yesterday the waitress at the cafe ran up
to JMP and said “Good Morning Mrs. Thomas!” Yup, it’s probably time to go.
